Dama do Bling – Desabafo

dama-jpg

This one is for the ladies in African hip hop, Dama do bling , hands down is the sexiest female rapper out .I even had to post a pic for you guys to judge for yourself. Born and raised in Mozambique, she’s well respected in Africa’s southern hip hop hemisphere and I know she has a lot more in store for us as she is putting out hits after hits. Check out her myspace page to listen to some more cut’s.

Mr Selwyn – Guess Who?

South Africa’s hip hop sensation, Mr Selwyn!  The beat… yes, is derivative of a US down south beat but the flow is super African, them diirty south boys could learn a thing or 2 on riding a beat and actually rapping from listening to this cat. He’s been in the game for awhile but his album “Formula” won him a SAMA award  and put him on the map in Africa. I haven’t heard from him in awhile… in fact last i read an article he was selling Insurance wtf??  but this tells you how bad our artists in Africa need proper backing and representation and of course support from the fans. Anyway check out the video
